As an Ealing osteopath I welcome patients of all ages, from babies to teenagers, pregnant women and senior citizens.
I graduated from University College of Osteopathy (formerly knowns as British School of Osteopathy) in 2008 and went on to complete an MSc course in Paediatric Osteopathy. I used to work at the internationally renowned Osteopathic Centre for Children in Central London, where I treated many babies and children as well as pregnant and postpartum mothers. |
Osteopathy is a philosophy of healthcare aiming at restoring body's natural balance and concerned with the link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. It acknowledges that the living body is a self-renewing, self-regenerating, self-recuperating system which maintains health constantly throughout life.
I will consider your whole body and the way it works, taking your lifestyle and habits into account, not just treating the one bit that hurts. This way, I can help you to change your posture and behaviour, so the results are long lasting.
Osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council and the title "osteopath" is protected by law. They are trained to diagnose conventionally and also to use their hands to assess body function and dysfunction. This gives them uniquely sensitive information about the disability within the body and how this insight might be used to help restore health. |
